Attention, Coordination & Timing
  • Filtering out background noise-is imperative for success for the student in the classroom and the athlete in the game. Hypersensitivity to sounds is common for those with attention difficulties.
  • Visual fields and eye muscles-help the student and athlete to adapt to changes in the environment.  Being able to have your eyes track items and respond to changes in light frequencies affects reaction time.
  • Body awareness -is important to know where your body is in relationship to your surroundings.
  • Mental control-and the ability to listen to yourself and center allows you to be present in the task at hand.
